CPR & First Aid Courses

Classes in a fun & relaxed environment…

When an emergency arises every second counts. We offer a variety of interactive courses in CPR and First Aid to give you the confidence to respond in an emergency situation.

CPR and First Aid courses take place on the 2nd and 4th weekend of each month. Any other classes require advance bookings. To learn more or to schedule a class, call today 403.726.1239.

COURSE OVERVIEW

(1) CPR – Adult, Child & Infant

Level A - This course includes: adult CPR (one rescuer), airway obstruction management and the recovery position.

Level B – This course includes: adult CPR (one rescuer), airway obstruction management, the recovery position and any additional skills the group desires to learn.

Level C – This course includes: adult, child and infant CPR (one and two rescuer), airway obstruction management and the recovery position.

Level D – This course includes: child and infant CPR (one rescuer), airway obstruction management and the recovery position.

Level E – This is a modified program designed by the instructor to meet the needs of a specific group; specifically for those with physical or learning disabilities who are unable to meet the requirements of any of the above programs.

(2) First Aid – Bleeding, Burns, Fractures, Seizures, Strokes, Diabetic Emergencies & More

Standard First Aid - This course is dedicated to basic First Aid and general emergency information; provides the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced emergency workers arrive and take over.
Prerequisite – Level C CPR
Course Duration – 6 – 8 hours

First Aid Recertification – This course is the First Aid recertification program for those who have kept their First Aid updated every 3 years.
Prerequisite – First Aid course in past 3 years
Course Duration – 3 – 4 hours

CPR & First Aid Combo – This course covers Level C CPR and First Aid.
Prerequisite – None required
Course Duration – 12 – 14 hours

(3) Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)

AED Certification – This course teaches individuals currently certified in Adult CPR how to safely use an AED to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.
